Registration forms are located here in PDF format. Please read and fill these out and bring these to your first practice. Or you can email the club at info@washingtonwrestlingclub.com for more information and forms.
Dues are $60. Checks should be made out to the "Washington Wrestling Club" and handed to Steve Shapiro, Josh Henson, Tom Schwarting or Clarence Long at a club practice. If you are already a member of USA Wrestling, dues are $30. Dues are due September 1st every year. Please pay at the first practice you attend!
Facilities include a fully matted practice room, changing areas and showers.
Admittance to the Jacobs Fitness Center to wrestle
American Univeristy has a strict policy on wrestlers being preregisted via email and having ID cards to enter the fitness center where the wrestling room is located and billing the WWC for each person on the roster who actually shows up at least once during the year.
Wrestlers can register for the club and have their name put on the roster at the AU fitness center by contacting.

Q: When does the club practice?
A: Practice on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30pm and Sundays from 2:30-4:30pm.
A: No. Attendance is optional.
Q: What equipment do I need?
A: Athletic shorts and a t-shirt. Wrestling shoes are recommended. Headgear is optional. No bare feet or shoes other than wrestling/martial arts shoes on the mat
Q: How do I join USA Wrestling?
A: This has to be done online, costs $30 and can be done easily at: http://www.usawmembership.com
Please note that the Washington Wrestling Club is located in VA for USA Wrestling purposes.
Q: I have never wrestled before, will I be lost?A: There are club members who never wrestled before. Experienced members will introduce you to the sport and provide a knowledge base which will help you learn.
